Bandipur village is a living museum of Newari culture, a beautifully preserved village crowning a lofty ridge above the highway stop of Dumre the mid stop of Prithvi highway. Dhampus village (1650m) is situated on the north from the Pokhara valley beside gorgeous views of golden rice terraces. Hiking to this village offer wonderful view of mountain, nature, landscape and internal silence. Different class of birds to the village of Dhampus populated welcome by the Gurung committee. Tourists usually stay here as a halt point its main income source roundabout to local people. Dhampus hiking is suitable for who have short holidays.
Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival
Your Arrival Time(?): Our represent will meet you at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your Hotel.
06:00 PM: Short briefing about your tour program. If you are arriving late (after 4PM) then we will have briefing next morning at 9:00AM. If any payment is due, then it will be collected during briefing time.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing (Full Day)
10:00 AM: After breakfast, visit for a full-day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Optional Activity: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:00 AM (INR 7500 Per Person)
Pashupatinath temple is the largest and holiest shrines for Hindus.This temple, situated on the bank of Bagmati river was built in the 5th century There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva) and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore. No entrance fee is charged for SAARC nationals to enter the temple. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.
Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. It is the center hub of Buddhism in Nepal which is surrounded by hundreds of monasteries. Licchhavi rulers renovated the staple during the 8th century, which has made on the shape of a Mandala.
Swayambhunath is one of the most glorious, holiest and oldest Stupa of the world. It is Located on a small hillock in west Kathmandu hence commands an excellent view of the valley. The stupa was built in 460 A.D. by King Manadeva, is also known by the name “Monkey Temple”.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley. The Malla king Pratap Malla erected the statue of Hanuman (the Hindu god of power) in this place and it was named Hanuman Dhoka. Taleju Temple, Tribhuvan Museum, the house of Kumari (Living Goddess), Kasthamandap, the temple of Kal Bhairav along with few other temples are some places to explore.
Day 03: Drive to Bandipur (130KM, Approx. 6 hours drive)
09:00 AM: After your breakfast, Drive to Bandipur. On the way you can visit at Manakamana temple by cable car. Enjoy your village tour around Bandipur.

Manakamana Temple, 10 minutes cable car ride from a station called Kurintar takes you to the temple of Goddess Manakamana who is believed to have the power to fulfill wishes. Kurintar is 104 km away from Kathmandu on the way to Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive to Pokhara (80 KM, Approx. 2 hours drive)
06:00 AM: Visit top of the Bandipur hill to view sunrise, surroundings landscapes and mountains view.
08:00 AM: After your breakfast, Drive to Pokhara.
12:30 PM: After your little refresh at the hotel you will visit for a half-day sightseeing of Pokhara, which covers Davi’s Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum and Fewa Lake. Beside this, you also can experience the available optional activities in Pokhara. Which are Paragliding, Bungee Jump, Ultra Light Flight, Zip-Flyer, Boating.

Davi’s falls is an amazing waterfall in Pokhara Valley which is nearly 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground level. It is also known as Patale Chhango which means underwater world. According to local old people, On 31th july 1961 a swiss couple Davi went to swimming but the woman drowned in a pit. From that day the place is known as David’s falls.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, one of the longest caves of Nepal is nearly 3km long. There are some walls dripping water inside the cave and about 40m in, we can see the statue of lord Shiva. Gupteswor Mahadev Cave is near from David’s falls.
Beautiful Lake Phewa is the second largest lake of Nepal. It covers an area of about 4.43 Sq km with an average depth of about 8.6m, maximum water depth is 19m. The reflection of mount Annapurna can be seen on Phewa lake. Another attraction of this lake is Barahi Temple made in pagoda style, which is an island in the middle of Phewa lake.
Day 05: Hike from Phedi to Australian Camp via Dhampus Village
09:00 AM: After your morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed your visit to Phedi. Phedi is your Dhampus hiking starting point, a 4-5 hours hike will takes you to the Australian camp via Dhampus village.

Day 06: Hike to Kade, Drive to Kathmandu
06:00 AM: Early in the morning you can experience the beautiful sunrise through the Annapurna Mountain ranges from the Australian camp.
09:00 AM: Hike to Kade, and drive to Kathmandu. After reaching at Kathmandu you will get a free evening time for shopping around Thamel tourist market.
Day 07: Transfer to Airport
You will be free till your flight time. We will drop you at Kathmandu airport 3 hours before the flight time (30 mins drive).

All foreign nationals, except Indians, need visas to enter Nepal. Multiple entry visas for 15 days (US$ 25 or equivalent convertible currency), 30 days (US$ 40) or 90 days (US$ 100) can be obtained from any Nepalese embassy or consulate. You can also get a visa on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu or at the Immigration Office at the entry points of Nepal.
Tourist visas can be extended for a period of 120 days at the Immigration Department in Kathmandu. However, nationals of the following countries will not get a visa on arrival at the immigration entry points of Nepal: Afghanistan, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iraq, Liberia, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. They need to obtain visas from Nepalese embassies or diplomatic missions in their respective countries prior to their arrival in Nepal.
Gratis (Free) Visa for 30 days is available only for nationals of South Asian countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka for the first visit in one visa year (January to December). However, a visa fee is required for its extension beyond the 30 days.

Generally, Nepal is for all seasons, however, if you are going to the high Himalayas for trekking, the best months are between September to November and February to May, when the weather is pleasant during the day and the temperatures do not drop rapidly during the night. You can still visit the mid-hills, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Poon hill and flat area Lumbini and Chitwan during the winter months (January and February). June to August is rainy season in Nepal. The rain is expected every day. It brings landslides and clouds often cover the mountain views. It is the best time to travel in Nepal.
