At. (Your Arrival Time): Welcome to Bali, Indonesia! Upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will ensure your transfer to your pre-booked hotel. 

Upon arrival at your accommodation, complete the check-in procedure and have some rest. Depending upon your arrival time and schedule, you can also explore nearby areas around your hotel on your own and, if you choose to do so, return back to your accommodation and enjoy your overnight stay.

At. 08:00 AM: Welcome to a new day in Bali! After a satisfying breakfast, you’ll be heading towards Ubud, one of Bali’s most prominent towns. Situated in the highlands of central Bali, this destination is perfect for travelers who are into wellness, nature, art, and culture. 

To begin the tour, you’ll first visit Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati Temple (also known as Ubud Water Palace) dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, who represents wisdom and knowledge in Hindu culture. 

Known for its tranquil water gardens, Balinese architecture, scenic lotus ponds, and sacred shrines, this temple will offer you a glimpse into Bali’s rich cultural heritage. 

The beauty of this sacred temple will leave you speechless, as you’ll get to see a massive pond with many fountains in the middle, lush green trees, colorful flowers, and even statues of the five Pandava brothers standing on lotus platforms. 

After this, make your way to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (also referred to as Ubud Monkey Forest), a popular nature reserve and temple complex. Home to a large population of long tailed macaques, this attraction will provide you a perfect mix of nature, Balinese culture, and wildlife.

Note: We advise you to avoid feeding or touching the monkeys and follow the sanctuary's safety guidelines.

Additionally, the sanctuary also features three ancient temples, namely, Dalem Agung, Beji, and Prajapati, that have helped Bali’s thriving historical legacy. As you’ll explore this destination, you’ll get to witness lush-green trees, scenic pathways, and playful monkeys, which will surely boost your mood and energy levels!

Next, you’ll explore Ubud Royal Palace (also known as Puri Saren Agung), an unmissable spot for history buffs. Built during the 1800s, only certain sections of the palace are accessible to the public, as the royal family still resides here. There is a palace courtyard, ancient pavilions, stone guardian statues, and a prayer courtyard that you can explore during your time here. 

At the entrance, you’ll also see stone guardian statues that are believed to ward off evil spirits and keep the palace safe from harm in Balinese mythology. Once all the sightseeing activities are over, you’ll be dropped back at the hotel where you can enjoy your overnight stay.

Note: If there’s extra time, you can also tour the Ubud Market and shop for local souvenirs and return back to your accommodation on your own.

At. 09:00 AM: Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. After this, you’ll be proceeding with the day’s sightseeing activities. Firstly, you’ll explore Batubulan Village, an artistic village popular for traditional art forms like stone carving and Balinese cultural performances. 

After this, you’ll be visiting Mas Village, known for its high quality wood-carved statues and paintings, which also features many workshops/galleries that showcase live wood carving demonstrations. Exploring this village will surely be an educational experience, as you’ll be able to learn about the various techniques and tools used in Balinese wood carving.

Following this, you’ll also continue your sightseeing tour to a highland in Bali to visit scenic coffee plantations. Exploring these plantations can be a great way to learn about Bali’s local agriculture and the process of growing and producing coffee.

As Bali is well-known for its high quality coffee beans, you’ll also get to experience the traditional method of making one of the world’s most expensive coffees, Kopi Luwak. And one of the most shocking things is that these coffee beans are actually digested and excreted by civets (an animal native to Southeast Asia). A major highlight of this tour is that you’ll also be tasting a few Indonesian coffees here as well!

Following this, you’ll be visiting the renowned Tegalalang Village, an unmissable destination for nature lovers! This village is primarily known for its lush-green rice terraces that you’ll be visiting, which is said to be every photographer’s dream destination. As there are many narrow trails and small pathways that weave through these rice terraces, you can take a walk along these areas as well.

Once all sightseeing activities are over, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel, where you can enjoy your overnight stay.

At. 08:00 AM: Once you’ve had your delicious breakfast at the hotel, you’ll begin your temple tour consisting of Ubud’s major temples.

First on the list, you’ll tour Tirta Empul Temple (only visit, no participation in bathing ritual) dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Tracing back its history, the temple was believed to have been established in 962 AD during the ruling of the Warmadewa dynasty. 

Built in a traditional Balinese architecture, the temple features three major regions, namely the Jaba Pura (the outer courtyard), Jaba Tengah (middle courtyard), and Jeroan (inner sanctum). 

After soaking in the spiritual atmosphere of the place, you’ll then visit Goa Gajah Temple (also known as Elephant Cave), one of Bali’s most fascinating historical and archaeological sites.

This temple site is known for its unique-looking cave temple that features a striking stone carved face that may be a little scary to look at first, but legend has it that it was actually built to protect the temple from evil and harm.

If you enter the cave temple, you’ll get to see many sacred shrines and a statue of Lord Ganesh. Aside from this, the temple complex also features ancient courtyards and a water tank as well. After completing the sightseeing tour, you’ll be taken back to the hotel where you can enjoy your overnight stay.

At. 08:00 AM: Once you've had your breakfast at the hotel, you’ll proceed for your sightseeing activities, where you’ll firstly visit Tegenungan Waterfall. Being an absolutely scenic destination, the waterfall is said to stand at a height of 15 meters. 

For the best experience, you can dip your feet near the shore of the waterfall, click those Instagram worthy shots, or even take a refreshing swim, but we do advise you to be careful, as water levels significantly rise after heavy rainfall. Follow the guide’s safety instructions and advice before taking part in this activity.

After this, you’ll continue on your tour to Taman Ayun Royal Temple, which features courtyards, multi-tiered meru towers, tranquil ponds, and historic shrines. Exploring this site will help you learn about Bali’s rich, flourishing cultural heritage. 

After visiting these two sites, you’re free to explore the rest of the evening on your own terms. If you choose to venture outside, return back to the hotel and enjoy your overnight stay.

At. 08:00 AM: After having your delicious breakfast, if you have some free time before your flight schedule, you can also explore the nearby areas near your hotel and then can return to complete the check-out procedure. 

You will then be driven to the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport for your flight back home. We hope you made lots of wonderful memories along the way, and may the memories of this trip always stay with you forever!
